Facilitated by talented, experienced and quality assured professionals, our subject leader sessions are an opportunity for schools to keep on top of the ever-changing educational landscape and hear about the latest information from the DfE, Ofsted and other national bodies as well as updates on current thinking, research and pedagogical developments relevant to a particular area. The sessions take place termly, and schools can choose the most convenient date to attend in either Rotherham (Rockingham Professional Development Centre) or Sheffield (Albion House). The focus for each session will be adapted to suit the needs and demands of schools and enable subject leaders to share successful practice, receive updates on national and local curriculum developments, and to further develop their leadership skills. Facilitated by Catherine Elliott, Primary Lead for the York, South & East Yorkshire Computing Hub, these sessions will take place from 16:00 - 17:30 on: Autumn - Focus • Monday, 4th November at Rockingham PDC, Rotherham. • Tuesday, 26th November at Albion House, Sheffield. Spring - Focus • Wednesday, 12th March at Rockingham PDC, Rotherham. • Thursday, 20th March at Albion House, Sheffield. Summer – Focus • Tuesday, 18th June at Rockingham PDC, Rotherham. • Monday, 24th June at Albion House, Sheffield. Cost: Schools and settings accessing the Core Offer to RoSIS & Learn Sheffield have unlimited access to the subject leader networks. Non-subscribing schools and settings can choose to purchase this package separately at £2,000 per school or individually at £500 per subject area, per school.
